About the Art

Ancient art embodies spiritual thought and knowledge acquisition through spiritual practice. Puranic images, characters, events, myths, culture, and supernatural symbols are frequently found in Nepali mythology. Artists
create self-serving works from collective unconscious, common cultural, symbolic, religious, and creative processes. These artefacts reveal experiences of our forefathers, cultural patterns, and images, providing aesthetic pleasure and connecting cultural societies to their roots. The painting depicts the legendary Buddha’s birth scene, highlighting archetypes in literature, sculptures, and architecture. The painting aims to present the Buddha statue and Stupa Chaitya prominently, along with the Prajnaparamita book.
