About the Art

The artist prefers to incorporate landscapes into their paintings, as they believe our real situations are reflected in the scenes and objects around us. The marks created by the friction of time tell different stories, creating abstract feelings in the mind. Every picture has its story, scattered across the scene with different emotions. Bohaju believes that the real nature of every human being is connected to spirituality, and living with nature is a natural desire toward spirituality. Despite the material and artificial nature of modern life, the desire to be like nature floats above us.

The painting is influenced by Nepalese urbanization, showcasing the desire to reach heights despite limited abilities. The monochromatic style used in the paintings expresses this desire through tall, thin structures covered in dark colors. The house’s appearance and conditions reflect the real face of our lifestyle. The painting also highlights the spiritual light hidden within humans, and the desire to be close to nature. The water lily symbolizes spirituality, bringing positivity to people’s hearts.
