Vajrapani is the force of the absolute enlightenment and is known as "Lord of the Secrets" or “Guhyapati”. He is regarded as the guardian of the tantras of the Buddhism of Vajrayana. The bodhisattva Vajrapani is considered one of Shakyamuni Buddha's Eight Heart Sons and is depicted in a peaceful appearance in the Sutra tradition of Mahayana Buddhism.
