About the Art

Kiran Manandhar’s artwork is a vivid mix of modern abstract expressionism and traditional Nepali concepts where colors serve as vehicles of message with emotion rather than only aesthetic choices. Drawing gods like Shakti, Radha-Krishna, and Ganesh, his works frequently explore the spiritual and mythological facets of Nepalese society. Manandhar, however, reinterprets these holy figures via his own abstract lens, therefore injecting his canvases with his particular and innovative ideas rather than following traditional representational conventions.
