About the Art

The word “Yogini” comes from the word “Yoga”, which generally means “combination” or “addition”. The wisdom of Yogini signifies unifying our mind, body, and speech to gain enlightenment. The Yoginis represent the purest form and the peak of beauty. A yogini with her various moods such as smiling, grave, serene, and dancing indicates the impermanence of the phenomenon in nature.
