Chitrakar’s current works are inspired by cultural motifs from his childhood, which have always fascinated them. He have recently explored these motifs in his canvasses, focusing on their mystic beauty. The chosen motifs include stone guardian lions and other mythical creatures found in the Kathmandu Valley. These forms are distinct from the natural world and are not found in our real world. The artist aims to show these motifs in various forms and settings, allowing viewers to enjoy their imagination and the fantasy of their imaginative world.
