The central character, a mother, loses her physical strength and authority as she ages. The installation emphasizes the connection to spirituality and the importance of taking pride in one’s spirituality. The motherly figure represents mothers suffering alone after their loved ones pass away, while the ‘Crow’ symbolizes imaginary friends they communicate with. The artist uses natural found objects to represent the loneliness of aging mothers, highlighting the issue of loneliness and depression.
