Vajrasattva is regarded as the sixth Dhyani Buddha (meditating Buddha). He is not represented in the Stupas but has an independent shrine dedicated to him. Vajrasattva is worshipped in secret and not open to those who are not initiated by Vajrayani Guru. He sits cross-legged in Dhyanasana and carries the Vajra in the right hand with palm upwards against the breast and the Ganta (bell) in the left thigh. Vajrasattva has many names. He is called Vajradhara, Samantabhadra, and Adi Buddha.
