About the Art

Amoghasiddhi Buddha, one of the five transcendental Buddhas in Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism, symbolizes enlightenment and the dissolution of jealousy and envy. TPurna Hyoju, depicts Amoghasiddhi with his right hand raised and palm facing outward in the Abhaya Mudra (fearlessness gesture). The painting is inspired by the illustrious history of Pancha Buddha artwork, dating back to the 12th or 13th century. The painting evokes devotion, meditation, and profound knowledge of Buddhist teachings, exemplifying the ability of art to transcend cultural barriers and communicate universal spiritual truths.
